VOLUNTEER
Volunteer jobs are available at ODGCAC for adults and high school students who are at least 15 years old. First, anyone who is interested should email us at volunteer@ourdailygnome.com. All people who want to volunteer will have to go through an interview and training, and anyone 18 years or older will have to pass a fingerprint check and background check.
Volunteers at ODGCAC help with many different things, such as, but not limited to:
No School in the Summer Camp assistance:
Help teaching artists set up and take down.
Help the campers make art.
Collect and hand out supplies, and set up art supplies.
Lunch, picnics, and outdoor activities should be supervised.
Set up fun games for breaks and free time.
Volunteers for art classes on Saturday morning and during the week:
Help students sign in and out of class.
Help the teacher set up and clean up the classroom.
Watch the classroom in case the teaching artist has to leave.
Volunteers for a community event:
Help set up and clean up the tent, table, or booth.
Set up art projects for kids and their families
Give ODGCAC materials to people at the event
Internships
Students in high school, college, or graduate school who are interested in art education or art therapy can work as interns at ODGCAC. They can get class credit for the work they do there.
