Youth and Adult Class Policies
Our Daily Gnome Creative Arts Center (ODGCAC) reserves the right to use copies of artwork and photos taken during any camp, class, or workshop.
If we do not reach our minimum enrollment for a class, we will contact you at least one week before the class is scheduled to begin to postpone the start date or cancel the class.
Should ODGCAC cancel a program, all fees will be refunded.
If you need to cancel your class registration, you must contact our Registrar at (757) 819-7982 or dawn@ODGCAC.org to request a refund. There is no refund for cancellations less than 1 week (7 days) before the first day of class.
A $20 cancellation fee is applied to all class registration refunds.
If you know in advance that you or your child will be unable to attend a class, please call ODGCAC at (757) 819-7982 or email dawn@ODGCAC.org.
No School Day Art Camp Policies
ODGCAC reserves the right to use copies of artwork and photos taken during any camp, class, or workshop.
Camps must be paid in full at the time of registration to guarantee a spot.
Should ODGCAC cancel a camp session, all fees will be refunded.
Should you need to cancel a camp registration, you must contact us via email at dawn@ODGCAC.org, and please note our cancellation/refund policies:
· Cancellations requested more than 48 hours (2 days) before the start of the camp session receive a full refund minus a $20 administrative fee.
· If it is more than 48 hours before the start of the camp session, you may request a transfer to another camp date (No School Day Art Camp, Winter Break Art Camp, or Spring Break Art Camp) with no transfer fee.
· There are no refunds available for cancellations requested less than 48 hours before the start of the camp session.
· Transfer requests less than 48 hours before the start if the camp sessions are at the discretion of ODGCAC staff, and will incur a $20 administrative fee if granted.
ALLERGIES: Our camps are nut-free. Please do not pack any food with nuts or nut products in your child’s lunch or snack. Additionally, due to allergy concerns, children may not share food. This includes siblings.
Campers should bring a bottle of water, non-perishable lunch, and afternoon snack (if staying for After Care). No soda, energy drinks, candy, gum, or lollipops.
No toy weapons (such as cap guns, water guns, etc.), handheld video game devices, or iPods. If you send your child with a phone, it must be kept in his or her backpack during the camp day.
Any camper not picked up by 3:15 pm will be automatically transferred to aftercare, and the credit card on file will be charged the full aftercare price for that day.
Campers in aftercare must be picked up by no later than 5:00 pm. For late pickups after 5:00 pm there will be a charge of $1/minute to be paid in cash directly to the provider at the time of pickup.
Summer Camp Policies

· Cancellations requested by May 1, 2024 will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee for each cancelled weekly camp session.
· There are no refunds for cancellations requested after May 1, 2024.
· If space is available, you may request a transfer to a different summer camp session. Transfers will be at the discretion of ODGCAC staff. Multiple transfer requests will be assessed a $50 administrative fee per request. Please contact us at dawn@ODGCAC.org to request a transfer.

ODGCAC recognizes that all participants in our programs have the right to be referred to by their identified name and/or pronouns. We also recognize and respect matters of gender identity, and will make all reasonable accommodations in response to participant requests regarding gender identity, and will protect individual privacy and confidentiality.
Where facilities are designated by gender, ODGCAC recognizes that participants should utilize the restroom facility they are most comfortable using, in alignment with their consistently asserted gender identity.
